A single dying bloom of fireworks across the river in Cincinnati, this isn’t greatly altered or photoshopped. The effect is mostly an accident of playing with camera settings – f/14, 1 second exposure, ISO 100… not what one usually would use for a fireworks display. A little sharpening, shifting the brightness to darken the background, and bit more saturation to bring out the orange center, and here it is…
